С целью выявления распространенности послеоперационной фибрилляции предсердий при коронарном шунтировании у лиц пожилого возраста обследовано 440 больных ишемической болезнью сердца, у 75 из которых было зафиксировано возникновение аритмии.

Thus, post-operative AF in elderly patients is characterized by a high prevalence as compared with middle-aged subjects. Predictors of the arrhythmia were age, antero-posterior LA size, left ventricular ejection fraction, aortic crossclamping time, and time of ischemia.
