Обсуждаются вопросы этиологии, патогенеза и клинического течения аффективно-респираторных пароксизмов, приводится клиническое наблюдение девочки с аффективно-респираторными пароксизмами, сопровождавшимися эпизодами асистолии, продолжительностью до 40 секунд, потребовавшими имплантации постоянного электрокардиостимулятора.

The problems of etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical course of affective respiratory paroxysms are discussed; clinical case report is presented of a female pediatric patient with affective respiratory paroxysms accompanied by asystole of duration of up to 40 s, which required implantation of a permanent pacemaker.
