SHORT-TERM EFFECTS OF AUTOADJUSTING POSITIVE AIRWAY PRESSURE ON HIGH, BORDERLINE, AND NORMAL BLOOD PRESSURE IN MALE SUBJECTS WITH OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA SYNDROME

Abstract

To study the effect of short-term autoadjusting positive airway pressure support on the dynamics of physiological parameters recorded during the “wakefulness-sleep” cycle, 37 men with complaints of snore and a newly diagnosed moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome were assessed.
