ST SEGMENT ELEVATION IN PATIENTS WITH ATRIAL FIBRILLATION IN CONTRAST ANGIOGRAPHY OF PULMONARY VEINS
Abstract
Five cases are presented of transient elevation of ST segment in the course of administration of a contrast medium into the left upper pulmonary vein in the course of radiofrequency isolation of pulmonary vein ostia in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation; the possible pathophysiological mechanisms of recorded electrocardiographic changes are discussed.
