THREE COMPONENT HYBRID THERAPY IN TREATMENT OF ATRIAL FIBRILLATION IN A PATIENT WITH HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY
Abstract
A case report is presented of the successful use of “hybrid therapy ” (β-blockers, permanent physiologic cardiac pacing, and ablation of ganglionary plexuses of the left atrium) for treatment of atrial fibrillation in a male patient with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and “bimodal disease” (sick sinus syndrome and atrio ventricular block).
