EFFECT OF CARDIAC PACEMAKER IMPLANTATION ON COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC ATRIAL FIBRILLATION: INTERRELATION WITH CEREBRAL PERFUSION

Abstract

To assess the effect of radiofrequency catheter ablation of the atrio-ventricular junction accompanied by cardiac pacemaker implantation on cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation accompanied by tachycardia, 17 patients aged 55.3±4.5 years (4 males and 13 females) were examined.
