LONG-TERM OUTCOMES OF RADIOFREQUENCY ABLATION OF PULMONARY VEINS AND IMPLANTATION OF PHYSIOLOGICAL CARDIAC PACING SYSTEM IN PATIENTS WITH THE TACHYCARDIA-BRADYCARDIA SYNDROME

Abstract

To develop the management strategy for patients with tachycardia-bradycardia syndrome, 25 patients (18 men and 7 women) aged 58.2±2.3 years were examined; in 11 patients, radiofrequency isolation of the pulmonary vein ostia was preceded by cardiac pacemaker implantation; in 14 patients, pacemaker implantation was indicated shortly after radiofrequency ablation.
