HEART RATE TURBULENCE AND MICROVOLT T WAVE ALTERNANS IN PATIENTS AFTER MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

Abstract

To study peculiar features of heart rate turbulence in patients after myocardial infarction and their interrelations with other known risk factors of sudden cardiac death (depressed left ventricular ejection fraction, heart rate variability indices, extent of coronary artery injury, and number of ventricular premature beats), 111 patients aged 64.1±10.5 years (84 men and 27 women) were examined.
