TREATMENT OF LOCAL SUPPURATIVE COMPLICATIONS IN THE AREA OF IMPLANTED PACEMAKER: IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETAIN THE PACING SYSTEM?

Abstract

To assess the possibility of a successful treatment of local suppurative complications in the pacemaker area without removal of the functioning pacemaker system, retrospective analysis of medical records for 56 patients and prospective study on 30 subjects were carried out.
