GENE POLYMORPHISM OF MATRIX METALLOPROTEINASE 9 AND TISSUE INHIBITOR OF METALLOPROTEASE 1 IN DEVELOPMENT OF POST-OPERATION ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

Abstract

To assess association of gene polymorphism of matrix metalloproteinase 9 and tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase 1 with development of atrial fibrillation after the coronary artery bypass grafting surgery, 80 patients with stable coronary heart disease were examined.
