PAROXYSMAL BRADYCARDIA AND ASYSTOLE IN PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WITH AFFECTIVE RESPIRATORY PAROXYSMS: NATURAL HISTORY, OUTCOMES, AND TREATMENT

Abstract

The problems of etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical course of affective respiratory paroxysms are discussed; clinical case report is presented of a female pediatric patient with affective respiratory paroxysms accompanied by asystole of duration of up to 40 s, which required implantation of a permanent pacemaker.
