Abstract
To assess effectiveness, safety, as well as effect of cardiac pacing on hemodynamic and electromechanical cardiac properties and the clinical state of patients, 90 patients with coronary artery disease associated with chronic heart failure and clinically significant bradyarrhythmias which required the cardiac pacemaker implantation were examined.

Abstract
To assess the role of the complete atrio ventricular block in development of hemodynamic alterations in patients with the inferior myocardial infarction, 71 coronary patients with Q wave inferior myocardial infarctions and complete AV block including 52 patients with signs of hypopefusion and 19 patients without signs of acute heart failure were examined.

Abstract
To reveal morphological markers of both hereditary and acquired alterations in patients with the arrhythmogenic right ventricle dysplasia, endocardial biopsy samples of 57 patients with ventricular arrhythmias (37 women, 20 men, age 48±12 years) and autopsy samples of 2 subjects (a 43 year old female and a 69 year old male) suddenly deceased due to ventricular fibrillation were assessed.

Abstract
To study the gender effect on the peculiar features of antithrombotic therapy, 377 patients (213 women and 164 men) with chronic, persistent, or paroxysmal atrial fibrillation aged 27 89 years (mean 67.4±9.53 years) were examined.

Abstract
Etiology, pathogeny, natural history, and electrocardiographic signs of cerebrocardial syndrome revealed in neurologic patients with stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and craniocerebral trauma, as well as in psychiatric patients are considered.
35-41 177
Abstract
The following issues of clinical use of intracardiac echocardiography are considered: requirements for the equipment, study protocol, imaging requirements, potentiality of use during catheter treatment of arrhythmias.

Abstract
The current concepts regarding the microvolt Twave alternation, methods of its quantitative evaluation are considered; the data of clinical studies, which have been performed using the given technique in patients with both the depressed and intact left ventricular ejection fraction at the background of both ischemic and non ischemic cardiomyopathies, as well as in the acute period of myocardial infarction, the Brugada syndrome, and wide QRS complexes were given.

Abstract
The potentialities of application of up to date laboratory markers, which can be used for diagnostics, prediction of complications, and assessment of effectiveness and safety of medical treatment in patients with acute coronary syndrome including myocardial infarction, are considered; interrelations between the risk factors and predictive value of different laboratory markers available but not widely used in the routine practice are analyzed.
