Abstract
To evaluate immediate and late outcomes of interventional treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF), effectiveness of primary pulmonary vein isolation, and electrophysiological causes of atrial fibrillation/flutter recurrence, 126 patients (97 men and 29 women) aged 49.7±8.2 years (15 68 years) were examined and treated.

Abstract
To compare the effectiveness of aorto-coronary bypass grafting surgery in combination with epicardial cardiac resynchronization therapy and isolated endocardial cardiac resynchronization therapy in patients with severe heart failure of ischemic origin, 102 patients aged 62.7±5.8 years (men: 90%) were examined and underwent the surgery.

Abstract
To assess causes of sudden cardiac death, analyzed were autopsies, autopsy reports, police reports, and questionnaires completed by relatives and/or witnesses of fatal events; performed were cardiac organometry, histological, morphometric, and immunohistochemical assessments of the ventricular myocardium, heart valves, and coronary arteries in 128 adolescents and young adults aged 14 35 years.

Abstract
To study potentialities of application of anti-orthostatic stress test for assessment of the left ventricle contractile reserve and its role in predicting the response to cardiac resynchronization therapy, 46 subjects aged 51±12 years were examined, including 24 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy and 22 patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy.
