Abstract
To reveal incidence of genotypes and alleles with regard to polymorphism of β1 adrenoreceptor gene and the transcription factor SP4, the medical exam and genetic tests were performed in the sick sinus syndrome patients, their relatives of relation degrees I, II, and III, and in the control group subjects.

Abstract
To assess the effect of radiofrequency catheter ablation of the atrio-ventricular junction accompanied by cardiac pacemaker implantation on cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation accompanied by tachycardia, 17 patients aged 55.3±4.5 years (4 males and 13 females) were examined.

Abstract
To assess the clinical and morphological state of the coronary sinus and the potential role of its alterations in the arrhythmogenesis in patients with chronic heart failure, 160 patients (mean age 66 years) were examined; 30 hearts of both women and men were assessed with light microscopy.

Abstract
To compare the sinus rhythm intervals and pre-ectopic intervals, 449 patients with coronary artery disease, 94 subjects with rheumatic valvular disease, and 112 ones with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were examined.

Abstract
The problem of the role of inflammation in the atrial fibrillation development is considered, the predictive value of inflammation markers including C reactive protein, interleukin, and the tumor necrosis factor for the clinical course of atrial fibrillation is assessed.

Abstract
Mechanisms of the cerebral perfusion control in patients with neurocardiogenic syncope and methods of their assessment on the basis of the perfusion velocity measurement in the medial cerebral artery by transcranial dopplerography are considered.

Abstract
A case report of a hybrid approach for management of a 17 year old male patient with chronic atrial fibrillation/flutter is given. Due to the presence of a thrombus in the left auricle, under the conditions of cardiopulmonary bypass, hypothermia, and pharmaco-cold cardioplegia, the modified procedure “labyrinth 3” was performed initially, with subsequent the radiofrequency pulmonary vein ostia isolation.

Abstract
A case report of examination of a 15 year old male patient with WPW syndrome due to existence of a parahisial accessory pathway and his treatment by repetitive radiofrequency catheter ablations is given.

Abstract
The results of examination and circular isolation of vestibular part of pulmonary veins are presented for a 45 year old male patient with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, in whom ineffective radiofrequency ablation ofganglionary plexuses of the left atrium was carried out.
